The Message
I have spent the bulk of my career as an Pulitzer Prize- nominated journalist, and a communications director and public relations specialist for tourism bureaus in Fort Myers, Fla. and Newport, RI.
I have worked with national and international journalists and served as co-chair of the North American Travel Journalists Association for multiple years.
As a public relations specialist, I have successfully juggled many large-scale public relations projects, including crisis communication (hurricanes, red tide, COVID). I developed a crisis communication plan that addressed current and potential crises and the strategies, tactics and talking points for each unique situation.
